PRAYER AS AN IDOL

One thing we believers ignore is that, the devil doesn’t use the same strategy to lure us, it takes true aligning with the HOLY SPIRIT to maintain our victory over the devil.

For every promise that was declared to us in the WORD, a counterfeit is created by the devil…. It takes the mind of GOD to think like CHRIST and discern the right thing…

Some of us as children, had our hearts corrupted innocently by some of our churches at home….

A wrong doctrine about prayer was in-corporated into us unknowingly, because of the results we thought prayer in itself could bring…

We were even taught to sing this popular song

Prayer is the key…. Prayer is the key…. Prayer is the master key… JESUS started with Prayer… and ended with Prayer….Prayer is the ‘MASTER KEY’

JESUS CHRIST IS THE MASTER KEY, THE WORD OF GOD, THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND LIFE

This ideology made us think prayer could solve all, so some of us followed the footsteps of our parents and began to sow more into the system of prayer rather, than STUDY OF THE WORD….

We focused less on LOVING PEOPLE, yet we prayed more and more, we neglected the fact that our lives should be like that of CHRIST, yet we prayed more.

We believed a prayerful Christian gains all and can’t ever lose.

This ideology was wrong, unfortunately, we have Churches that were built on the false doctrine of Prayer, so they have prayer vigils on almost every Friday and on most days of the week, yet they never get RESULTS, you never see changes and improvement in their lives….

Beloved, when you start praying more than you study the WORD, you are making PRAYER and idol….

When you pray so much, but, you don’t take conscious efforts to practice being like CHRIST, and building your MIND in HIM, you make Prayer an idol.

PRAYER ISN’T THE FOUNDATION OF CHRISTIANITY, CHRIST IS….

So, Strike a BALANCE!

TAKE QUALITY TIME TO STUDY WITH THE WORD, AND THEN PRAY, AND MAKE EXTREME EFFORTS TO PRACTICE IT, THAT’S WHAT MAKES YOU BE LIKE CHRIST.

STOP ASKING FOR GRACE TO GIVE, AND START GIVING FROM THE LITTLE YOU HAVE…

STOP ASKING FOR STRENGTH TO PREACH THE GOSPEL, AND GO OUT UN-ASHAMEDLY TO DECLARE IT…

STOP ASKING FOR POWER, AND DESIRE UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORD….

• DECLARE THESE WORDS

I am made to shine…

I am made to flourish…

I am manifesting the WORD

My life is achieving a BALANCE

I have the mind of CHRIST

Therefore, I am THINKING RIGHT

My day is blessed

And the GLORY OF GOD COVERS ME ALL MY LIFE

HALLELUJAH!!

FAITH THAT WORKETH BY LOVE

 

Have you ever wondered why we have faith and we try to manifest it, but it just doesn’t work?

Could be very frustrating… right?

I want to show us a mystery that will change the course of our Life….

Just open your heart to this TRUTH!

 

Galatians 5:1 Stand Fast therefore in the Liberty wherewith CHRIST hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage……..

……vs 5 For we through the SPIRIT wait for the hope of Righteousness by faith..

……vs 6 For in JESUS CHRIST neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor un-circumcision; but FAITH which WORKETH BY LOVE

NOW LOOK AT THIS…

The Bible says the only way our Faith will work is BY LOVE……

Our FAITH- BOAT (without faith it is impossible……Hebrews 11:6)

BY SEA- BY LOVE

This means the only way our faith will work is BY LOVE…

So, if you are going to make your FAITH EFFECTIVE, ADD MORE LOVE… not power, not more praying on mountains… BUT MORE LOVE

LOVE FUELS YOUR FAITH

GOD IS LOVE, THE SPIRIT OF LOVE, JESUS CHRIST THE WORD, FEED ON THE WORD, INCREASE YOUR LOVE FOR GOD….FEEDS YOUR FAITH…

That’s only what availeth, RELIGION won’t help you… your pastor can’t do it…you have to ask for grace to LOVE

Vs 9- A LITTLE LEAVEN LEAVENETH THE WHOLE LUMP

Keep adding LOVE, it will change all… stop feeding your faith with fake food… it won’t avail a thing…

Churches are increasing, congregations are increasing, and the body of Christ is decreasing if not sinking….

 

Vs 16 This I say then, WALK IN THE SPIRIT, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh

Vs 25 If we LIVE IN THE SPIRIT, let us also WALK IN THE SPIRIT…

The only way to overcome the lust of the flesh is to WALK IN THE SPIRIT.. WALKING IN LOVE…

That was what the Bible meant…

Many BELIEVERS live in the SPIRIT but do not WALK IN THE SPIRIT…

Why?

When we get born again… We are born into the SPIRIT

But if we don’t practice the ways of the SPIRIT….LOVE we ain’t walking in the SPIRIT

 

We are of no use to GOD when we live there and do not walk there..

It’s like travelling abroad, when you get there, you live there… if you don’t get out to work…though you are still there.. you ain’t of use to them …

So, BEGIN TO WALK IN LOVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE… ONLY THEN, CAN YOUR FAITH AVAIL!

You can’t because of LOVE be saved, and then after that start to feed yourself with another substance….it’s impossible

Dollars got you into AMERICA, Naira or Euro or Pound won’t help you there…

When you Listen to Sermons and Read books only !!!

When the HOLY SPIRIT, reveals something to a man, and the man receives Understanding to practice it. He is much effective in passing down the revelation to another person through utterance given by the same Spirit of GOD.

It is so much of a good thing, to read Spiritual books and listen to sermons by men of GOD. I personally have gained from it a lot, because you are learning faster…climbing on the shoulders of the experience of a man of GOD. But, there’s a plague that is ravaging believers like never before.

As good as it is, for GOD to create opportunities for believers to live excellent lives, the enemy always tries his best to create counterfeits of those opportunities. That’s where the problem is. We now have believers who depends so much on messages and Books to understand the SCRIPTURES, and less on the HOLY SPIRIT.

These set of believers could listen to sermons throughout a week, and barely read the WORD OF GOD as they are meant to. These false feeling of a greater level roses up in them, making them think they are moving into higher grounds. Do you know what happens in this situation…. When a pastor or whoever, explains the WORD OF GOD to you, and you listen sufficiently to it. It’s like ice-block steps you are climbing, . If you do not sit down to study the WORD OF GOD yourself and receive perfect Understanding of it. You will climb to a certain level, and just 1 storm of life will hit you, Bringing you Back to Level 1.

You are actually meant to solidify and establish that WORD that was deposited I. Your heart. That “going back to the WORD” is what makes the difference. The ability to sit down on your own, and depend on the Spirit of TRUTH for Understanding facilitates Responsibility in the Spirit. #Balance your life in Study and Practice of the WORD OF GOD.
