MENTORING DELIVERS YOU FROM MISTAKES -My Encounter with Bishop David Oyedepo

I have enjoyed the benefits of mentoring and I will tell you it’s preservation of destiny. Sometimes when I remember some of the conversations that I’ve had with Dr David Oyedepo, I laugh all by myself and I’m just grateful that I was not left to myself.

One day, our church was still very young and we were searching for a property to move into. So we found one, we had not paid yet. When I went to him and told him:

Pastor Sam: ‘Oh we found a place (the relocation from opposite Lagos State Government Secretariat, Alausa to 71, Oregun Road) and we are about to pay for it, and infact as soon as we move in there, we have some strategies that we are going to execute for growth.

Dr Oyedepo: Fine, like what?

Pastor Sam: As soon as we move in, the first thing we are going to do is to do 21 days prayer and fasting.

Dr Oyedepo: Good! But wait a minute. What is the longest fast that you and the church members have gone on?

Pastor Sam: 7 days. I’ve led them on prayer and fasting for 7 days.

Dr Oyedepo: Good. How far is the new place from where you are? Will people have to take commercial transport? Maybe get on a bus before they get there?

Pastor Sam: Yes.

Dr Oyedepo: Okay, so the likelihood is that some people around where you are now may not be able to go with you. They will be unable to pay because it will cost them money?

Pastor Sam: Yes.

Dr Oyedepo: Okay, what will you say has been the major attraction for your church up till now?

Pastor Sam: It’s the Word, it’s the teaching sir.

Dr Oyedepo: Good. So when you move into that new place , you will be trying to get some of your old members to come along and you will be trying to get some new people from the new environment to join you?

Pastor Sam: Yes.

Dr Oyedepo: If I were you, what I would do for 21 days is what has been the major attraction of the Church. To add 21 days prayer and fasting with the inconvenience of coming to your new location…I’m not sure that’s going to be a fantastic strategy.

You know what? As he was saying that, I was smiling. I didn’t tell him what I was thinking. I was thinking to myself…why was I thinking like that?

Mentoring delivers you from mistakes.
Mentoring delivers you from ignorance.

WHAT’S THE USE OF DEEP REVELATION WITHOUT ANY MANIFESTATION?

Your freedom to work and talk is a right in your country.
Everyone knows it is. But, an hoodlum or militant can stop you from doing it irregardless of the fact that it’s your right.
You can shout and even read the constitution to a theif, telling him that ARMED ROBBERY is against the law. You would get slapped or even shot if you can’t defend yourself at that moment.
But, if a soldier or a policeman is there. He can enforce that LAW, and makes sure it stands.
Unfortunately, this is what happens to many Christians today.
When the devil challneges us, we boast of what we know in Christ and keep decreeing the law of the kingdom.
We keep talking about our rights. We are sons of GOD. We are heirs of promise. We keep talking of things that are meant to happen.
Don’t we know that the devil is also meant to attack us. Is that not why he is Satan.
We forget the fact that the devil is a law breaker and a thief.
No matter how right we are, we still need Authority and Power to enforce what should be.
Very good… We have received the HOLY SPIRIT, we have the power residing in us. But, most importantly, many of us haven’t ascended in Authority.
So, the devil challenges us and disgraces us despite the deep revelations we have about GOD.
What can GOD Do? He told us to keep feeding ourselves with his WORD and invest in prayers and seek more understanding of HIS WORD so we can rise in authority.
Yet, we refused by obeying half. We sought and hungered for deep revelations of the WORD OF GOD so we could blow the minds of people.
Now, we cry when we are attacked and despite what we know, we are still defeated.
Brothers… Sisters… Man of GOD and woman of GOD.
Stop deceiving yourself, thinking that, because you can explain the pre-adamite era and you can bring me into the revelation of speaking in tongues, you would survive the attack of the Kingdom of Darkness when the devil’s ready for you.
I know it may be shameful. But, you and your kingdom friends prayed when her family was attacked spiritually.
You fasted when his father was on the sick bed. You spoke in tongues for hours when her business was about to crash.
Nothing significant happened, and you assumed it was meant to be so.
NEVER!!
GOD is not a Pastor, neither is he a powerful Angel.
It is us that has reduced him to this.
We have not ascended in Authority.
The only way the devil can permanently stay on the defeated side is when you can back up your WORDS with POWER.

WE MUST ASCEND IN AUTHORITY.

WE ARE TIRED OF DEEP REVELATIONS WITH NO MANIFESTATION.

Christians are not Chickens.

We need to get aggressive in the Spirit.
Who is the devil that we should be scared of him?
When did Christians start to fear men who use charms?
When did Believers start to run away from men who are confident of their occultic powers?
When did Christians start to leave firms and organisations because of the sons of darkness that dwell there?
Oh NO!!!
It should never be.
We must wield the power we claim to have.
Enough of being mild with the activities of darkness around us.
It’s time to command what is meant to be.
It’s time to burn whatever charms that may be responsible for our state and that of any of our loved ones.
But, we can’t achieve this, if we are not confident of the WORD.
We can’t do anything, if we cannot stretch in the place of prayer.
We can’t amass any power of we are not willing to sacrifice our pleasures for the Power of GOD.
DECIDE NOW!!!
DO YOU WANT TO LIASE WITH THE DEVIL AND HIS DEMONS OR YOU WANT TO WAGE REAL.WAR WITH THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS.

LEARN HOW TO PASS THE BATON

We want you to pay close attention to this information.
Taking your time to Read is waste of time if you don’t act on it.

The advancement of the Kingdom of Darkness cannot be terminated just because the will of GOD was perpetrated in a season.
It takes the reproductive ability of the witnesses of GOD in a territory to establish the will of GOD for life.
We’ve seen something. The kingdom of Darkness has noticed the heightened efforts of Believers to press into the mysteries of GOD.
They’ve seen the efforts of men and women to bring people into Christ.
They’ve identified the Systems and structures which have been placed to make sure the WORD OF GOD rules and they’ve come up with a strange strategy to make it unfruitful.
They make us ignore the need to pass the baton to the next generation. So, no matter how powerful the revival was, no matter how hot that Fellowship you started was, no matter how much you got people to start coming to church in that season.
If you ignore the people that will continue that work you’ve started.
You’ve wasted your time.
Because, it can take a year to make some results, but it takes only days to destroy it completely.
We are talking to You, cell Leader, we are talking to you, Choir Leader, we are talking to You Prayer Cord, we are talking to you, Christian Media Manager, We are talking to you, Bank Manager.
Who are the people that would keep the fire burning.
University Student! You are about to Graduate, and your class is still on fire. What of the incoming set, what of the juniors that were just admitted. They are sinking and you are olay with that.
You must reproduce the work you have started.

Start NOW!! GET THEM INTO IT.

Senior Pastor donates 1 million Naira to Muslim community to complete Building of Mosque in Calabar

– Apostle Essien Ayi has donated the sum of N1 million to a Muslim community in Cross River, Calabar, for the completion of a central mosque and Islamic centre

– According to the pastor, Nigerians should be their brothers’ keepers, irrespective of their religion

– The Muslim community appreciated his gesture, adding that it was the first of its kind

The sum of N1 million has been donated to the Muslim community by a senior pastor with the Peniel Church of God in Calabar, Cross River state, Apostle Essien Ayi.

The lawmaker, who donated the cash at Gbogobiri stated that Nigerians should be their brothers’ keepers, irrespective of their religion.

He said: “Every human being whether Christian or Muslim believes in God, the creator. The religion may be different. The mode of practicing may be different, but it is tilted towards one being, which is God.

“Also the Muslim society has been very supportive of me right from when I was chairman and they informed me that their former mosque had been demolished and they are trying to erect a new and befitting mosque. I feel as a representative, they too are my constituents. I am bound to make a token donation towards the completion of that mosque. We should be be our brothers’ keepers. We are all Nigerians irrespective of our religion.”

Reacting to the gesture, the head of the Hausa community, Sarki Lawan, said: “We are very happy. We appreciate his concern about coming here to give us his donation. This is the first time it has ever happened. He donated N1 million and we assure him the money would be put to use. The name of the mosque is Central Mosque and Islamic Centre in Calabar.

“Work started about four months ago and the money would help us a great deal. Our message to other politicians is to emulate what he has done so that the people they are representing would feel their impact.”

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that a peace ambassador, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani, donated chairs to a church while pastors also planned to decorate mosques as part of the UN World Interfaith Harmony Week.

Tijjani explained that the essence was to promote respect and religious tolerance in the state and the country at large.

This world is getting dark whether we like it or not.
Where under the name of brotherly love, we are advancing structures of the Kingdom of darkness.

When did JESUS become Allah?
When did Allah die on the cross?

Please, don’t you ever believe that we are serving the same GOD.

We ain’t!!

DEAD STUDENT OF AUCHI POLYTECHNIC RAISED BACK TO LIFE

Testimony!

I have come to return all the glory to God for His faithfulness and validating his mandate upon this commission. I am a Cell minister, my Younger Brother in University of Calabar called to inform that our Younger Brother schooling in Auchi Polytechnic was confirmed dead on the 13th of May 2018 and his body deposited in the mortuary. Being worried and dismayed I contacted my Home cell provider, who shouted “He can’t be dead and I responded Amen.

He gathered his household to join us and we began to pray fervently on KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT for about 2 hours that night. And there after we joined Canaanland via DOMI radio for the Covenant hour of prayer.

The next day my brother travelled to Auchi, on arrival late in the night he went straight to the mortuary and saw his Younger brother’s lifeless body. The mortuary attendant consoling Him reminding him that he came too late because he was injected for embalmment over 24hours ago. He then whispered to the ear of the lifeless body ” Jesus is here, arise!”. Nothing happened, he whispered again and said, “IN THE NAME OF THE GOD OF BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO, WAKE UP! And in the next second, the dead brother sneezed out a thick blood and got up to the amazement of the mortuary attendant. About 68 SOULS gave their lives to Christ instantly. To God be the Glory.

Yes, you too are a Christian.You believe in the power of GOD. You read your Bible and pray everyday but you don’t even know how to pray for the sick.

This should not only challenge You, it should push you to get more intimate with GOD.

Know him more.

That’s the only way you can create evidence the WORD you claim you know.
