Colossians 4:6. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Why is it that we Christians understand the promises of GOD but it’s not working in our lives?
Why is that we confess GOD’S WORD so much as daily and we don’t see its effect in our lives.
What’s the reason behind this confusion ?
The Bible makes us understand that we can be stuffed with so much power, but without the authority to use it, it remains un-useful to us.
The Bible says, “Let our words be with grace” The platform on which the WORD works in our lives….. Let it be seasoned with salt.
That means, irrespective of the power in our words, it should come in the right season. Meaning, without the certification of the HOLY SPIRIT, the WORD will be ineffective in our lives.
See this example….
I speak the WORD, the fact that there’s a strange wisdom associated with that WORD, people begin to approach me. When they
get to me, if the WORD is not for the moment, though it’s powerful, they will leave me speaking.
This tells us that there’s a mystery associated with speaking the WORD of GOD in the appointed season.
THIS SALT is the MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. We aligning ourselves with the HOLY SPIRIT makes the WORD OF GOD effective in our lives.
SALT is what makes the WORD OF GOD move from mere INFORMATION to a Convinction in our hearts.
Chanting the promises of GOD without aligning with the HOLY SPIRIT, will lead to frustration.
Have you been confessing the LOVE OF GOD and not seeing the results?
Why not begin to walk in the SPIRIT in strong intimacy with the HOLY SPIRIT and see if you won’t find the answers you’ve been seeking.
The power of the HOLY SPIRIT in our lives, makes the promises of GOD fruitful in our lives.
